This entry into the Council Quest program focuses on the life and story of Josephine Holloway, the Black woman who brought Girl Scouts to Middle Tennessee. Through the program, Girl Scouts learn about their identities, inclusivity, and intersectionality. It is offered at three different grade levels: 2-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This program attracted a $50K grant from the Nissan Foundation, allowing it to be sent to all of our Early Bird registrants, totalling over 2000 girls in the 2025 membership year.
